The Research and Insights Industry needs to retool - fast!

Here is a presentation I gave in 2018 to the #NewMr Conference on The Future of AI and Automation.

While there are some pioneers out there, the Research and Insights Industry has been slow to learn and adopt tools from the broader analytics industry. In particular our analysis tools are often outdated, with many companies still reliant on tools from the past generation (cough, SPSS).

I gave this talk to encourage more companies to use more general-purpose programming tools for analytics, such as Python.
